Methane Leadership Summit 2025 – Call for Abstracts
PTAC Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada is inviting abstract submissions for the Methane Leadership Summit 2025.
Topics of Interest:
We are seeking abstracts on innovative research, technologies, and solutions in the following areas related to methane detection, quantification, reduction, and elimination:
- Methane emissions from oil field tanks.
- Methane slips from internal combustion engines.
- Methane emissions from flares and combustion equipment, including alternatives to flares.
- Methane emissions from suspended and abandoned wells.
- Cost-effective solutions for pneumatics, especially for economically challenged brownfield wellsites.
- Application of methane emission solutions from the hydrocarbon energy sector to other sectors such as agriculture and municipal.
- Case studies about novel technologies for methane emissions detection, quantification, reduction, or elimination.
- Economics, profitability and return on investment from investments in methane emissions detection, quantification, reduction or elimination.
- Case studies or examples of significant collaborative technology development, demonstration, or deployment.
Conference Agenda Opportunities:
- A limited number of 10-minute presentations followed by a Q&A session.
- Panelist positions featuring five-minute opening remarks with the option to include a short slide deck.
Abstract Submission:
