Call for Well P&A Solutions.

The Net Zero Technology Centre (NZTC), in partnership with the ‘Go Radical P&A Project’ managed by Energy Transition Norway, Centre of Decommissioning Australia, Danish Offshore Technology Centre, and Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada, is seeking technologies that will enable rigless plug and abandonment to support in developing, trialling and testing these technologies in a multi-operator collaboration focused on accelerating wells decommissioning.

Accelerate the development of your Rigless P&A Technology:

NZTC’s Well Decommissioning Collaboration initiative is accelerating the pace at which well decommissioning technology is qualified and commercialised to reach industry targets of 10% cost reduction in well decommissioning by 2028 and emissions reduction.

The multi-operator initiative is already providing industry with access to new technologies, additional data collection from other operators, and reduced investment risk.

As part of the initiative, NZTC is seeking technology solutions that have the potential to allow rigless plug and abandonment (P&A):

Successful applicants will have the potential to join the initiative for support in developing, trialling and testing their solutions, gaining exposure to industry-leading operators Harbour Energy, ConocoPhillips, Respol, TotalEnergies and Petrobras.
