STV is supported by a broad partnership of operators, government regulators and policymakers, and innovators with PTAC as a neutral third-party facilitator to generate complete field-based performance for a cohort of methane technologies, thus providing operators with information to confidently purchase equipment at scale and benefiting stakeholders, governments, innovators with local market growth and a launchpad for exports. STV removed a critical barrier (knowledge gap) to reducing methane emissions while returning the oil and gas sector to an economically strong engine that provides high-quality employment.
