Alberta Upstream Petroleum Research Fund (AUPRF)
Industry-led research and collective problem-solving are supported by the Alberta Upstream Petroleum Research Fund (AUPRF). Managed by PTAC, AUPRF allows producers to collaborate in identifying common priorities, pooling resources, and investing in applied research, technologies, and best practices.
This collective approach helps tackle environmental and operational challenges that benefit from shared effort and industry alignment.
Support from AUPRF covers the entire research and innovation cycle, from initial research and testing to demonstration and application, assisting industry in adopting practical, cost-effective solutions with measurable impacts.
International Collaborations
International engagement opportunities are supported through PTAC’s International Collaborations services, which help Canadian organizations prepare for and participate in global markets.
Working with small and medium‑sized enterprises, government, and industry partners, PTAC facilitates connections, shares Canadian clean technology capabilities, and enables knowledge exchange. This support reduces barriers and strengthens readiness for international engagement.
