The PTAC Canadian Fuels Compliance Fund (CFCF) is a registered Emissions Reduction Funding Program under Canada’s Clean Fuel Regulations. It provides primary liquid fuel suppliers with a cost effective, transparent, and nationally inclusive option to meet up to 10% of their annual carbon intensity reduction obligations, while accelerating the deployment of innovative, low carbon technologies across Canada.
Administered by PTAC, the CFCF enables contributions from primary fuel suppliers to be strategically invested in projects that deliver verifiable and measurable CO₂e emissions reductions. All investments are fully aligned with federal climate objectives and the requirements of the Clean Fuel Regulations.
By directing compliance dollars toward high impact Canadian projects, the CFCF supports both regulatory compliance and long term decarbonization and innovation across the energy sector.
