PTAC’s Remediation Reclamation Forum has provided a central gathering place for hundreds of industry stakeholders to collaborate and advance new innovations, supported through the Alberta Upstream Petroleum Research Fund (AUPRF). Through this unique collaborative approach, the consortium has been able to identify challenges, leverage funding and technical expertise, and support applied research and technology development activities.
The PTAC RRRC has evaluated four recently completed projects that resulted in realized cost savings estimated to be $93M annually due to revised regulatory guidelines and/or policy changes. These results have proven that businesses can indeed profit while reducing environmental liability through collaborative solutions that drive smart policies and regulations while improving environmental performance and cost savings efficiently, effectively, and predictably.
At the Remediation Reclamation Forum, attendees will have the opportunity to learn firsthand how the practical application of these outcomes can benefit their organizations.
