PTAC Receives $400,000 Investment to Support Alberta’s Clean Tech Exports

Petroleum Technology Alliance of Canada (PTAC) is continuing its efforts to support Alberta’s clean technology sector with assistance from PrairiesCan. PTAC recently received a $400,000 grant to provide technical, business, and marketing support to help Albertan businesses export their clean technology innovations to international markets.

This funding is part of a $21 million investment announced by Minister Vandal in 13 projects in Alberta through federal programs such as the Alberta Indigenous Clean Energy Initiative (AICEI), the Business Scale-up and Productivity program (BSP), and the Regional Innovation Ecosystems program (RIE). These investments are expected to create jobs and help Alberta organizations take advantage of opportunities arising from the integration and development of clean technologies. Embracing and commercializing new technologies offers the potential for environmental and economic benefits across various industries.

PTAC would like to thank Minister Vandal and PrairiesCan for their investment. This investment emphasizes the significance of technological advancement in driving clean energy solutions forward. PTAC is dedicated to leveraging its expertise to help Alberta businesses take advantage of emerging opportunities in the clean tech sector. By fostering collaboration and innovation, PTAC will maintain its partnerships with industry and contribute to a more sustainable and prosperous future for all Albertans.
